3. START YOUR FLIGHT TRAINING

PRE-SOLO

PHASE 1 (min. 17h)

During this phase, you'll learn everything about the airplane, the environment etc. You'll start with basic maneuvers: turns, climbs & descends. Gradually transferring to low-speed airwork followed by those challenging Take Offs and Landings!

SOLO & X-COUNTRY

PHASE 2 (min. 20h)

After your First Solo flight, you start to navigate from your homebase in Thermal to different destinations such as: Borrego Valley, Palm Springs Las Vegas etc. You'll also learn how to fly during night, a magical moment. You'll experience True Freedom!

EXAM PREP

PHASE 3 (min. 3h)

In the last phase, your Flight Instructor will prepare you for the FAA Private Pilot Checkride. Since you've done all the exercises several times before, you'll be ready to demonstrate your new skills during the test and earn your first Pilot Certificate!
